In our multi-cultural class we had divided loyalties when it came to the All Blacks versus Tonga on Friday... What an amazing night it was! We love celebrating our difference...Go the Mighty All Blacks! Go Tonga!
It is hard to decide who to cheer for isn't it. I love the All Blacks but I'm part of the Tongan community. Next Wednesday I'm going to the Japan verses Tonga game. Who should I cheer for? Can you help me? Mrs Hartley

Some of us think you should cheer for Tonga because you are in that community at school. Others think you should cheer for Japan because they are our adopted team for the Rugby World Cup. Some of us thought you could cheer for both teams and when one team is losing if you cheered for them they might try harder.
Thanks for your great ideas Room 9. I think I may well end up cheering for both teams. I will ask Mrs Fearon if I can borrow her Japanese flag and I'll take my Tongan flag then whoever I feel needs cheering on I have both flags with me. You are awesome thinkers in room 9 and have helped me solve my problem. I will let you know how I get on.
